This game involves catching a falling "beckoning cat" with a cushion, requiring precise timing and skill. The cushion effectively catches the cat and awards a gold oval coin (Koban) upon success. It would be advantageous if the Game Center allowed shared scoring to facilitate competition among players.

The gameplay includes lateral and vertical movements of the cushion, which also shifts the floor platform to align with falling cats. Continuous successful catches of a nearby beckoning cat can trigger bonus multipliers, enhancing scores. Occasionally, a black beckoning cat appears, which awards double the oval gold coins; consecutive catches of this black cat double the bonus again.

The floor cushion can be upgraded by acquiring additional items, adding strategic depth to the game. The game concludes if the upper-left canned cat food counter reaches zero. Accumulating 40, 80, or 120 units of canned cat food advances the player to higher stages.

Note that "beckoning cat" is referred to as "Maneki Neko" in Japan, and "Koban" is an old Japanese currency unit. The in-game currency "Ryo" is also referenced as an ancient Japanese monetary unit.

Additionally, a sleeping cat observed on the second stage is identified as Revi, adding a personal touch to the game environment.
